ABOUT AMERICA's NANNIES®
How we became the live-in nanny specialists...
America's Nannies® was founded in 1984 as Helpfinders Unlimited®. At that time it was a full service domestic agency placing nannies, housekeepers, housekeeper/child care, butlers, chauffeurs, major domos, house managers, couples and other miscellaneous domestic personnel. It soon became evident that greater expertise, screening, investigating and matching were required when placing nannies and in time we specialized only in the placement of full time live in nannies. Our reasoning is that there is a great loss of quality in one area or another when dealing with the person that was responsible for both childcare and housekeeping. Simply stated, the person that is a great housekeeper may neither be interested nor capable of providing quality care for children and vice versa. The decision to concentrate our effort on nannies only and live in nannies in particular, proved instrumental in making us the best resource for nationwide placement of full time live in nannies. In 2008 buy popular demand, we started again to include full time live out nannies in NJ only.
